OpenGL does not require freeGLUT but I have the feeling that you are writing OpenGL code from somewhere, where freeGLUT is used instead of pure OpenGL hence the dependency on freeGLUT. see freeglut_std.hIf you want to use freeglut_static you can define FREEGLUT_LIB_PRAGMAS in C/C++ -> Preprocessor -> Preprocessor Definitions.
