Just out of interest though, what is the date and time of your file? Here are lines 31 and 32 of newres.h: #include "winuser.h" // extract from windows header #include "winver.h" So the compiler successfully read winver.h but couldn't read winver.h? VC++ 6.0 is installed under both OS's and I can compile/build the same projects successfully under both.
