I know that it could mess up my comp so I didn't try it, but someone else might not know. IMHO this is due to NFS (probably not corruption, but bad caching) and possibly the fact that another process is using the directory. The find command shows the file is present, but still I can't think of a way to delete it. Check This Out It's extra work, but sometimes it is worth it to get the job done.
