I would install, uninstall, and reinstall it over and over using the driver in the c-media folder on the CD that came with the motherboard. Hi, My computer shows cmedia ac 97 and it works, but my sound is choppy. I fixed it by runnining the drivers from the MOBO disc. First step is to install chipset and mobo drivers as recommended by nobus.
