I've done it for over 10 years, using multiple version of Dreamweaver. Access denied. My local site files are still in "thehrprofessionalsgroup" directory, but it has been moved to reside under the XAMPP (htdocs) directory, as required by xampp.
- Thing is, I'm not sure whether FTP protocols may have changed.

The thing with GoDaddy is finding your actual server path, which isn't obvious when you FTP in. It turned out that one of the site definitions had become corrupt. This has been established for quite some time. Still no connection. I use a Mac OSX 10.6.8 on my desktop and Maverick on my Mac Laptop.
So "/icons" isn't aliased in this # example, only "/icons/". I guess also I didn't read Murray closely enough to see any difference from what I was doing.
