- Just restarting the Eclipse solved the issue for me on many instances.
- The strange thing is, i can click around in Ecilpse, I just can't type during this state.
- Sometimes simply restarting Eclipse, or whatever editor you use, can help.

I just figured out that it is also happening with other applications (althought not as often). Actually I got the same problem with XML and XSL Editors too. All other users should be unaffected by this change. I recall that this package was missing from the version of Eclipse available on Ubuntu 9.10 and had to be installed manually. Browse other questions tagged xml eclipse or ask your own question. I checked that the file had not actually the read-only attribute.
Create a JSP file. 2. XSL and XML Editors (from Eclipse XSL Developer Tools) were working fine before the installation of WPE. Same system I (sometimes) use, and don't see this error.
