Diskwarrior External Hard Drive Not Mounting


Close the terminal window & plug the disk in, it should automount & you're all fixed. But my use case is a bit different: I take care of all the computers in my house, and my wife and three kids all have their own. DiskWarrior 5 is now available, so let's take a look at what's new. Personally I'd find it hard to justify if I were just using one computer and had regular backups. That will probably show it needs reformatting (and possibly repartioning). Is there something I can do to get DW to recognize my hard drive or another approach to take?Also, how can I safely quit DW and turn my computer off. As others have pointed out your drive is probably formatted as FAT32. Go to Utilities in the Menu bar, and select Disk Utilitiy. The drive mounts if you see it in DU, so it's really funky if DW doesn't see it. Is adding the ‘tbl’ prefix to table names really a problem?
