What other remedy should I do. Having our videos, pictures and other large files copied to an external hard drive is a safe way to back up things. I tried using first method, i was getting a blank command box, then i tried 2nd method, i could able to delete atleast eight autorun, but still after this i cant

  1. March 19, 2010 deepak patel in my pc the FOLDER AND SEARCH OPTION was not activated, and i want to show my hidden files.
  2. go back to control panel, Folder options select view- select DO NOT show hidden files and folders and recheck Hide protected operating system files (recommended).

If you see a drive/partition without a drive letter assigned to it (except for the windows 7 reserved partition which is only 100MB) right click on it and assign a letter. The drive is working normally, and everything else on it is as it should be, but the folder that my friend copied files into is completely empty.
